INTERNATIONAL ENERGY WEEK - 7th RUSSIAN OIL & GAS WEEK

In the period from 23rd to 26th October 2007 it is planned to hold the Second International Energy Week (IEW-2007) and the Seventh All-Russian Oil and Gas Week at the “PRESIDENT-HOTEL” in Moscow.

One of the main objectives of the “IEW-2007” is supporting the provision of the energy security on the global and regional levels, development of constructive mutual understanding of the largest energy market players and efficient satisfaction of the demand on local markets. In order to realize such objectives, it is planned to conduct official business meetings and negotiations of the leaders of international organizations, energy industries, leading energy companies of Russia and foreign countries during the Forum.

Another very important topic of the Session and round table discussions during the “IEW-2007” will be increasing energy efficiency and energy saving based on the maximum use of the achievements of fundamental and practical sciences, implementation of efficient organizational, technical and financial solutions, improvement of energy infrastructure, as well as training specialists for the energy sector.

Heads of Gazprom, Lukoil, Transneft, TNK-BP companies and other companies and organizations.
