NewsUfa to host the 1st All-Russian Forum on Social Tourism02.12.2011 
This December the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rosturism) together with the regional authorities of the Russian Federation holds regional forums and conferences that contribute to promoting tourism opportunities in our country. According to experts of UN WTO Russia is in the first five countries having the biggest touristic potential and aimed now at its implementation.
In August 2011 the Federal target program "Domestic and inbound tourism development in the Russian Federation (2011-2018)" was approved by resolution of Russian Federation Government. For the first time in Russian history significant resources are being attracted for creation of modern, competitive industry infrastructure and improvement of tourism opportunities of our country.
One of these events is: “All-Russian Forum on Social Tourism” to be held in Ufa (Republic of Bashkortostan) on December 15-16.
 The positive experience of budgetary subsidies for tourist trips, with money allocated to the most vulnerable social groups - especially pensioners - highlights the necessity of raising the issue of subsidy support of social tourism development in other regions and at the national level.
Today Bashkortostan is the only region in Russia, developing its own program for social tourism, approved by the RB Government on April 29, 2011. Its financing will amount to 36,9 million rubles in 2011. Participants of the forum will get acquainted of the tourist and recreational opportunities of Bashkortostan, discuss the resources for further successful development of tourism in the Republic.
Representatives of federal and regional executive bodies and local authorities, tourism companies, international organizations, specialized institutions and the business community in the tourism industry and media are among those invited.
