The Exhibition Centre in Ashgabat hosts the large international forum again. Turkmengurlusyk-2009 Exposition dedicated to the achievements and further development of one of the priority sectors of Turkmen economy has opened there today. The organizers of the forum are the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Construction Material Industry of Turkmenistan, Turkmenawtoyollary State Concern and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. This exhibition is the first one in the history of Turkmen construction industry.
The three-day exposition at the Exhibition Centre showcases the versatile potential of construction industry in Turkmenistan to the visitors. A variety of construction machines, carrying and lifting, erection and measuring equipment, module concrete-mixing and brick-making plants and many other things are presented at the exhibition.
The impressive representation at the exhibition proves intense interest showed by foreign partners in cooperation with Turkmenistan that relies on advanced technologies and innovations. About a hundred of the foreign companies from more than 20 countries worldwide, most of which are the world’s leading producers, have the pavilions at Turkmengurlusyk-2009 Exposition. These include Komatsu and Itochu (Japan), HOCHTIEF, Wirtgen and Novelis (Germany), STRABAG (Austria), WYG (United Kingdom), Capital Longji (China), VINCI (France), Polimeks, Sehil, Ekol (Turkey), Amman Rusland, EVRAZ (Russia)
.jpg) Of course, numerous Turkmen construction companies of different forms of ownership that actively contribute to implementing the construction and urban development projects in the country arrange their expositions at the Exhibition Centre.
Thus, Turkmengurlusyk-2009 is a splendid opportunity for the foreign companies to showcase their achievements in various fields of construction as well as specify the trends in mutually advantageous cooperation.
The international scientific conference Development of Construction Industry of Turkmenistan in the Epoch of New Revival which will be held on the exposition closing day, is to encourage and intensify effective collaboration. Upon concluding the conference the participants will receive the diplomas and international certificates.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the welcoming statement to participants of the international exhibition and conference on development of construction industry in Turkmenistan.
“I would like to congratulate you heartily on opening the first international exhibition and conference dedicated to the achievements and further development of Turkmen construction and construction material industries,” the welcoming statement says in particular. The National Programme opens up the vast opportunities to build dozens of schools, hospitals, kindergartens and other social and economic facilities, develop supermodern branches of communications throughout the country, event in the most remote regions of Turkmenistan.
“The large-scale projects launched promoted turning our country into a grandiose construction site. We pay special attention to the top priority measures to develop construction industry in Turkmenistan, consistently strengthen the material and technical basis of the sectoral enterprises that, in its turn, promotes creating new jobs, improving the professional skills of Turkmen builders.
Today white-marble Ashgabat has been recognized as the peacemaking centre on the Asian continent as well as across the world. Conducting numerous meetings, conferences, symposiums, forums at the international level vividly illustrates that. These international exhibition and conference are to be a significant event vividly evidencing the expanding scope of mutually advantageous fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and the countries of the world.
