Signs of new day
Having entered the epoch of Revival Turkmenistan sets out the grandiose plans on the full-scale implementation of its profound economic and spiritual potential.
The dynamic development of the national economy in the past recent years is vividly illustrated by the statistic data. Thus, for ten months of this year the high growth of gross output rates were achieved in such sectors as agriculture, construction, transport, communications, trade, services sector. The volume of investments used by the ministries and sectoral departments for construction various industrial and social facilities rose as higher as 2.6 times as compared to the same period of 2008. Investments to boost the national economy make up tens of billions of dollars.
Cooperation for the sake of peace and good neighbourliness. This is the fundamental principle of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy consistently pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
International cooperation is the sphere where Turkmenistan invariably acts as an equal, honest and dependable partner whom long-term and mutually advantageous relations can be built with. That is vividly illustrated by the international forums conducted in the country, many of which have become traditional.
The program of the international exhibitions, scientific conferences and fairs, which will be held in Turkmenistan in 2010, has been already approved by the President.
