The investment project is a radical transformation of Turkmenbashi urban engineering infrastructure worth more than 133 million Euro commissioned by khyakimlik of the seaside town and carried out by Turkish company Polimeks.
The works are deployed on more than fifty sub-objects under the general plan of construction. Among them, the degree of perfection come first store drinking water in various parts of the city and the suburbs, including in the main tank farm.
Monolithic precast concrete tanks are built to meet strict health and safety requirements to ensure the seismic resistance and the tightness of facilities for storage of food products, which include drinking water. As part of the project ten capacitive structures with a total capacity 26 thousand cubic meters to be built in all city tank farms. Together with the existing reservoirs and the powerful sea water distiller, newly built on the request of the Turkmenbashi oil refineries complex, total capacity of urban reservoirs will increase several times. It will meet growing demand of fresh water for population, industry, health resort and socio-cultural objects of the rapidly developing seaside town by a long shot for a few years ahead.
